Our new dual-space building features two inspiring rooms: a Teaching & Learning Space, designed for small group work, interventions, wraparound care and creative sessions, and a Sensory Room, complete with calming lighting, textures and layouts that promote focus, comfort and emotional regulation for pupils with SEND or additional needs.

Created in Partnership with Sensory Technology

Our sensory room has been developed in collaboration with our partners, Sensory Technology, one of the UK’s leading experts in sensory design and equipment. Through this partnership, we’ve created a fully-fitted sensory space featuring:

- Interactive lighting, sound and tactile panels

- Calming sensory features to support emotional regulation

- Flexible layouts for group and individual use

Visiting the showroom gives you the opportunity to see and experience sensory design in action, and gain a deeper understanding about how working with our education building experts and the sensory environment experts at Sensory Technology can create a huge impact at your setting.

You’ll find us just off the A52, easily accessible from Nottingham, Derby, and the surrounding counties. Visits are by appointment so we can dedicate time to your tour and tailor it to your school’s priorities.

Can’t make it to Nottingham? We also offer virtual tours. You’ll be guided by one of our team through the space via video call, with time to ask questions and discuss your school's needs.

Do I need to book before visiting?

Yes, we require you to book a time slot before you visit. This ensures we can dedicate time to provide you with a sensory demo if you wish, show you around our building and offer tailored advice for your school or educational setting, answering your specific questions. You can choose a slot that fits your schedule, and visits can take as little as 30 minutes.

Who is the showroom for?

Our showroom is open to anyone involved in education or childcare, from headteachers, SENCOs and business managers to facilities staff, local authority representatives and nursery managers. Whether you’re researching sensory provision, extra teaching space or wraparound care options, we’ll tailor the visit to your needs.

Can I bring colleagues or other decision-makers?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring colleagues and decision-makers so you can come and experience the space together first-hand.

Our Cabins for Schools sensory and classroom showroom is part of the Cabin Master show site in Nottingham, just off the A52 near the Toton Lane park and ride.

You’ll explore our dual-space building, which includes:

  • A flexible teaching and learning space ideal for interventions, small groups or enrichment activities.

Do you offer virtual tours?
